OUR HISTORY

Originally known as Millie's Bucktails and founded in the 1950s, the company was based in the Florida Keys. Throughout the years Millie's offered a good selection of bucktail jigs to the southeast region's fishermen, mostly focused on bonefish, snook, and other regional species found in and around the Keys. Millie's was purchased in December 2002 and it was quickly realized how dedicated were the followers of the Millie's Bucktail brand. The original focus was on continuing the same bucktail jig styles and colors, but then to improve upon the manufacturing process and to provide a higher quality bucktail jig at a lower price than the competition. After improving this process we added a substantial volume of new color patterns, jig head styles and our very popular bucktail jig assortments.
